The witnesses described the experience in language almost word-for-word identical to Fátima accounts. This event occurred in a non-Catholic religious context, among people with no expectation of a Marian miracle, and with no advance prediction of the kind made at Fátima. This finding significantly complicates one element of the Fátima argument. Any version of this document that argues "the only explanation that accounts for all of the documented facts simultaneously is the one the children gave" is factually incorrect. The Dhammakaya event accounts for the same documented visual facts — spinning sun, color changes, painless observation, figures in the sky — without the children's explanation.
